Another busy day but with less in the way of new arrivals, nearby reports of the Black-browed Albatross passing offshore at Scolt Head caused some excitement, but the bird was not found. However 40 Wigeon, 50 Teal, 750+ Common Scoter, a Red-throated Diver, 49 Gannets, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Pom Skuas, 2 Great Skuas, a Sandwich Tern, 2 Puffins and a Razorbill were all seen at sea, with a Med Gull also noted. A Woodcock was in the pines, 3 Swallows were still hanging on around the Broadwater Hide, at least 3 Yellow-browed Warblers were in the recording area including one ringed on the 3rd which had gained almost a gram in weight over the 5 days! A Sedge Warbler trapped and ringed was extraordinarily late for the time of year, and a Lapland Bunting flew over calling.
