Two Swallows through the reserve today gave some hope to Spring being just around the corner. Though a fly through adult Whooper Swan, 10 Pink-feet and a 4 Barnacle Geese on the grazing marsh plus the immature Merlin seen again implying a more realistic seasonal feel to things. A Red Kite was noted again over the recording area, a pair of Med Gulls around the Broadwater and 4 Scaup seen on the sea.
