REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

Holme Bird Observatory Friday 26th March 2021

A rough day with rain, but mild. A Wheatear was on the grazing marsh this morning and 9 Black-tailed Godwits were also counted. A Bar Owl was hunting and 7+ Chiffchaffs were around the recording area, with 2 Cetti's Warblers also heard.

A single Hebrew Character was in the moth trap.
