ACCESS TO HOLME BIRD OBSERVATORY UPDATE

REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

Holme Bird Observatory Saturday 27th March 2021

On the sea today 8 Common Scoter and a Red-breasted Merganser were seen. Single Crossbill, Brambling and 4+ Siskins were feeding in the pines today, and 150 Golden Plover flew out over the grazing marsh.

In the moth traps 4 Hebrew Characters, 1 Dotted Border, 1 Small Quaker and 1 Common Quaker were caught.
