ACCESS TO HOLME BIRD OBSERVATORY UPDATE

REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

Holme Bird Observatory Thursday 29th July 2021

 A cool and blustery day. Highlights today were a Great White Egret near the Broadwater and several small groups of Black-tailed Godwits flying past close to the Observatory.
 
Moths included 5 Common Footman, 2 Red Twin-sot Carpet, 5 Scarce Footman, an Early Thorn, 11 Ruby Tiger, Oak Eggar, 2 Fern, Small Elephant Hawk, 2 Grey Dagger agg, 3 Brown-tail, 2 Yellow-tail, Iron Prominent, Knot Grass, 9 Garden Tiger, Riband Wave, Small Waved Umber, 2 Nut-tree Tussock, Dingy Footman, Shore Wainscot, 3 Cloaked Minor, Scalloped Oak, 7 Rustic, 3 Common Rustic, White-line Dart and Pretty Chalk Carpet.Norfolk 4.Spoonbills Snettisham RSPB
