 Moth higlights today were 25 Scarce Footman, 6 Common Footman, 4 Least Carpet, 2 Riband Wave, Red Twin-spot Carpet, 8 Dingy Footman, 7 Garden Tiger, 10 Rustic, Antler, 7 Drinker, 2 Bright-line Brown-eye, 3 Silver Y, 3 Small Blood Vein, Rusty Dot Pearl, 6 Lesser Broad Bordered Yellow Underwing, Large Yellow Underwing, 2 Smoky Wainscot, 4 Yellow-tail, 6 Single Dotted Wave, 3 Knot Grass, 4 Cloaked Minor, 2 Canary Shouldered Thorn, 2 Pine Hawk, Least Yellow Underwing, 3 Nutmeg, Dusky Plume, Spectacle, Ruby Tiger, Pale Prominent, 5 Archer's Dart, 2 Southern Wainscot, 2 Rosy Minor, Straw Dot, Pebble Prominent, Dunbar, Common Rustic, Flounced Rustic, Buff Ermine, Dark Arches, Brown-line Bright-eye, Straw Underwing, 2 White-line Dart, Uncertain and Breckland Plume.
 
Southern and Migrant Hawkers were on the wing around the reserve, and Painted Lady and Common Blue were also noted.

Norfolk Common Crane ad just east of Wells again at North Point Pools by track north of A149 +1/3ml E of steam railway entrance on west pool at 6.21am then flew west. Keep to public rights of way +don't enter from railway station
