Holme Bird Observatory Saturday 6th November 2021

Another very rough day with strong south westerlies, however seawatching produced a few goodies with 360 Common Scoter, 6 Red-breasted Mergansers, Red-throated Diver east, a Black-throated Diver close in flying west, single Fulmar and juvenile Gannet, a first-winter Shag on the sea and 3 Great Crested Grebes. Passerines were scarce but 35 Blackbirds, Song Thrush, 2 Mistle Thrushes and 4 Rock Pipits were of note.
