Holme Bird Observatory Tuesday 9th November 2021

Early morning sea watching highlights were 4 Goosander, 2 Goldeneye, 13 Red-breasted Mergansers and 4 Gannets. At least five Red-throated Divers were noted, with one close in shore.
On the Broadwater there was a single drake Pintail and a ringtail Hen Harrrier was seen over the grazing marsh, presumably the bird reported later at Thornham.
Both Red Admiral and Common Darter were noted stillo n the wing near the observatory building.
