ACCESS TO HOLME BIRD OBSERVATORY UPDATE

REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

Holme Bird Observatory Monday 7th February 2022

Sightings on the grazing marsh included 120 Teal, 780 Wigeon, 1600 Golden Plover, 438 Lapwing, 24 Black-tailed Godwits, a Ruff and 3 Snipe. A male Merlin was also noted, with 3 Bramblings at Drove Orchards and 3 Stonechats along the sea wall.
