ACCESS TO HOLME BIRD OBSERVATORY UPDATE

REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

Holme Bird Observatory Thursday 3rd February 2022

A flock of 1600 Pink-feet were on the marsh together with 560 Lapwings and 1200 Golden Plover. At Drove Orchards 10 Bramblings were in the orchard area together with 135 Fieldfares. A drake Pintail was on the Broadwater and 2 Water Rails were heard, together with a Cetti's Warbler.
