Holme Bird Observatory Friday 17th June 2022

As predicted a rather hot day, though windier than expected. Bird wise things were quiet but at least one Bearded Tit remained along the Broadwater edge. The moth traps were productive though, with 56 species trapped. Highlights were Leopard Moth, Swallow-tailed Moth, Scalloped Oak, Brimstone Moth, Treble Brown Spot and five Hawkmoth species.
