ACCESS TO HOLME BIRD OBSERVATORY UPDATE

REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

Holme Bird observatory Wednesday 15th June 2022

Birds today were thin on the ground with a showy Cuckoo, that kept flying backwards and forwards in front of the obs, and a flock of ten Black-tailed Godwits, the more noteworthy. 
Moths included Peppered Moth, Lychnis, Mottled Beauty, Buff Ermine, Heart and Club and Dark Arches.
