A Raven over the Pines early morning was a nice surprise followed by another surprise, a Crossbill, again over the Pines midday. Four Spoonbills were also noted between the Broadwater and Thornham Harbour.
The moth traps produced more Garden Tigers, 17 in total, with other notable species such as Pebble Hook-tip, Canary-shouldered Thorn, Pine Hawkmoth, Pebble Prominent and Antler. A Humming Bird Hawkmoth was also regularly on the Buddleia outside the Observatory building.
