ACCESS TO HOLME BIRD OBSERVATORY UPDATE

REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

Holme Bird Observatory Friday 28th October 2022

Sea watching this morning produced a Red-necked Grebe off Gore Point. Birds noted further along the coast nearer the Obs, included 30 Gannets, 15 Red-throated Divers, 12 Little Gulls, 9 Eider and at least a 100 Razorbills feeding just offshore. The Cattle Egret again put in an appearance, spending its time around the Broadwater and with the cattle.
