ACCESS TO HOLME BIRD OBSERVATORY UPDATE

REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

Holme Bird Observatory Tuesday 4th October 2022

 A Greenshank spent the day on the Broadwater, viewable from the Car Park Hide and several Redwings were disturbed from the bushes near the carpark. A Grey Wagtail flew over heading West and single Chiffchaff and Blackcap were also recorded.

Moths today were 23 Lunar Underwing, 13 Large Yellow Underwing, 8 White Point, 3 Large Wainscot, 3 Feathered Ranunculus, 2 Square Spot Rustic and single Beaded Chestnut and Deep Brown Dart.
