ACCESS TO HOLME BIRD OBSERVATORY UPDATE

REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

Holme Bird Observatory Thursday 22nd December 2022

Four Shorelarks were again seen off the Golf Course and a Great Northern Diver was seen flying east, with 2 Red-breasted Mergansers also of interest at sea and a Barn Owl hunting near the village. A Kingfisher was seen from the Car Park Hide, and a Woodcock, Snipe, 3 Fieldfares, 2 Stonechats, a Cetti's Warbler and 2 Blackcaps were still present.
