On the sea there were counts of 500 Common Scoter, 25 Eider, 7 Red-breasted Mergansers, 4 Red-throated Diver and 2 Gannets. A Spoonbill was in Thornham Harbour mouth and a male Snow Bunting flew west along the beach calling.
