On the sea today 100 Eider, 20 Common Scoter, 5 Red-breasted Mergansers, a Red-throated Diver, Great Northern Diver, 6 Fulmars and 6 Great Crested Grebes were recorded. A Kingfisher was active around the Broadwater and at least one Firecrest was showing well at the west end of the reserve mid morning. Two Cetti's Warblers were also present, and at least 60 Fieldfares were still at the back of Drove Orchards.
