On the sea today Scaup, 41 Eider, Long-tailed Duck, 10 Common and 2 Velvet Scoter, 3 Red-breasted Merganser, a Goosander, Red-throated and Great Northern Diver, 4 Fulmars, 3 Great Crested Grebes, Slavonian and Red-necked Grebes were all reported. The 4 Shorelark were again on the beach just off the golf course. The Eastern Lesser Whitethroat was showing at the Richardson Hide, and a juvenile Peregrine and a Chiffchaff were also of interest.
