REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

Holme Bird Observatory Saturday 14th January 2023

On the sea today 48 Eider, a Goldeneye, 5 Red-breasted Mergansers, a Red-throated Diver, Great Crested Grebe, 5 Fulmars and 5 Pintail were seen. At least 3 Barn Owls were hunting early afternoon, and the Firecrest was heard from the Dell.
