Holme Bird Observatory Tuesday 24th January 2023

A beautiful and cold day, Broadwater was also entirely frozen over again so the majority of ducks were in Thornham Habour. On the way to Thornham three Red Kites were feasting on a dead goose in the fields. The sea was fairly quiet but one Goldeneye was observed. There were lots of Snipe around again and a Woodcock was flushed from near the heligoland.
