ACCESS TO HOLME BIRD OBSERVATORY UPDATE

REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

Holme Bird Observatory Friday 10th February 2023

On the sea today 65 Eider, 6 Red-breasted Mergansers, 2 Red-throated Divers, 7 Fulmars and 20 Great Crested Grebes were seen, while around the reserves a Spoonbill, Water Rail, 300 Golden Plover, 3 Black-tailed Godwits, Barn Owl, Kingfisher, a Firecrest in the pines behind the Observatory and 4 Stonechats were also noted.
