An Osprey flew west along the coast early morning, and a Cattle Egret appeared briefly on the Grazing Marsh before heading off south. On the sea there was a count of 17 Red-breasted Mergansers, 13 Common Scoter, 11 Great crested Grebes and a single Velvet Scoter. A total of 8 Wheatears were noted during the day along, with 3 Yellow Wagtail and a single White Wagtail. A Whimbrel was found in amongst the Curlew flock, and on Thornham Pools there were counts of 71 Black-tailed Godwits and 29 Ruff. The moth trap 4 Hebrew Characters, 3 Clouded Drabs and single Early Thorn and Water Carpet.
