A fine sunny day with a welcome freshening breeze during the afternoon. Birds today included a selection of waders over and around the Broadwater, which included Spotted Redshank, Greenshank and Green and Common Sandpiper. A kingfisher was noted on the Broadwater, a Great Spotted Woodpecker in the Pines and Green Woodpecker and at least three Stonechats and a Wheatear along the East Bank.
