Another good day of north-easterlies with a few highlights, including a surprise catch of 3 Water Pipits early this morning, a Woodcock flying along the edge of Broadwater mid morning, a Short-eared Owl hunting the grazing marsh, and Merlin, Kingfisher, Bearded Tit, 3 Swallows, a Cetti's Warbler, at least one Lesser Whitethroat still present along the east bank, a Richard's Pipit on the NWT grazing marsh, 24 Waxwings flying over east, 6 Rock Pipits, 17 Bramblings, 12 Redpolls, and 5 Siskins also noted.
At Redwell Marsh there was no further sign of yesterday's Dusky Warbler, but a Yellow-browed Warbler and 3 Chiffchaffs were still present in the area.
