REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

 A Greenshank flew over calling and a Hobby was again hunting over the pines. Two Great White Egrets were also present and a Siskin was in the pines.
 
Brown Rustic, 2 Buff Tips, 2 Riband Waves, 2 Small Magpies, 7 Rosy Footman, 21 Common Footman, 4 Cinnabars, 4 Sharp-angled Peacocks, a Silver Y, 2 Swallowtails, a Small Scallop, 2 Small Emeralds, 6 Haworth’s Pugs, 3 Dark Arches, 4 Uncertain, a Sand Dart, a Silky Wainscot, a Bordered White, 2 Smoky Wainscots, a Common Emerald, Scalloped Oak, 6 Scarce Footman, Dingy Footman, 3 Lyme Grass, a Poplar Grey, 2 Brown-tail, 3 Pine Hawks, Ghost Moth, Short-cloaked Moth, Garden Tiger, 2 Barred Straws, 2 Oak Eggars, 8 Rustic, a Yellow-tail, 2 Bright-line Brown-eye, Peppered Moth, Mottled Rustic, 2 Buff Ermines, Large Yellow Underwing, Eyed Hawk, Fern and Common Rustic.

Butterflies included 2 Large White, 2 Painted Lady, 4 Red Admiral, Gatekeeper, 6 Meadow Brown, 12 Ringlet, 2 Peacock and 2 Small White.
