ACCESS TO HOLME BIRD OBSERVATORY UPDATE

REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

Holme Bird Observatory Tuesday 20th July 2021

Bird highlights today included an Arctic Tern and 2 Gannets offshore and two Great White Egrets noted on the Broadwater mid-morning.

The moth traps produced 47 species including 3 Pine Hawk moths, 2 Rosy Footman,  Dog's Tooth, Swallowtail, Campion, Nut-tree Tussock and Blackneck.
