Bird highlights today included a Great White Egret, Green Sandpiper and Greenshank on the Broadwater and four unseasonal Brent Geese along the shoreline. The moth traps were quieter today, the increased wind strength undoubtably contributing. Moths caught though included single Coxcomb and Pale Prominents, 2 Fen Wainscots, Canary-shouldered Thorn, Pine Hawkmoth and Marbled Clover.
