REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

Holme bird Observatory Wednesday 22nd September 2021

 A rather quiet day with 12 snipe and a Green Sandpiper on the Broadwater and NWT Pools, an Arctic Skua offshore and a Yellow wagtail over heading west. The moth traps were equally quiet with 14 species trapped including Large Wainscot, Light Emerald, 2 Common Marbled Carpets, 3 Feathered Ranunculas and 35 Eudonia angustea.
