Seawatching was the main focus today, with 7 Pintail, 15 Tufted Duck, 391 Common Scoter, 6 Red-breasted Mergansers, 10+ Red-throated Divers, 2 Sooty Shearwaters, 85 Gannets, 3 Great Crested Grebes, 3 Arctic Skuas, 9 Great Skuas, 2 Razorbills, 16 Guillemots, 3 Sandwich Terns, 260 Kittiwakes and 4 Little Gulls recorded. Also of interest today were a Red Kite, 3 Water Rails, a Kingfisher, Peregrine, at least 1 Woodlark seen over the forestry, 2 Yellow-browed Warblers, 2 male Blackcaps, a Reed Warbler, 3 Stonechats, 2 Rock Pipits, a Brambling and 6 Siskins.
Moths included 10 Large Wainscots, 4 Large Yellow Underwings, a Lunar Underwing, Rusty Dot Pearl, 2 Beaded Chestnut, 2 Setaceous Hebrew Characters, 2 Angle Shades and a Red-green Carpet.
