A Dotterel was found in the recording area today, in fields just south of the coast road towards Ringstead.. In the immediate reserve area, the Ring Ouzel was present in the dunes along with a Cuckoo and the Common Sandpiper was still around the Broadwater. A Spoonbill was in Thornham Harbour, with eight Whimbrel and five White Wagtails on the flooded fields to the west.
The moth traps were slightly more productive with three Clouded Drab, two Small Quaker and single Garden Carpet, Hebrew Character, White Ermine, Great Prominent, Muslin and Dark/Grey Dagger.
