Holme Bird Observatory Thursday 12th May 2022

Another steady trickle of Swifts and Swallows today with 3 Yellow Wagtail flyovers. Otherwise fairly quiet for birds.

Lots of butterflies around especially Green Hairstreak and Wall Brown.

The moth traps picked up after yesterdays rain, the majority were Flame Shoulder and Muslin but also a nice Angle Shades and a very worn Pine Hawk Moth.
