ACCESS TO HOLME BIRD OBSERVATORY UPDATE

REPAIRS TO THE COASTAL FOOTPATH ARE COMPLETE AND FULL ACCESS IS RESTORED TO THE OBSERVATORY FROM THORNHAM. THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND VISITORS FOR THEIR CO-OPERATION.

Holme Bird Observatory Friday 1st July 2022

A group of 4 immature Spoonbills landed on the Broadwater. A Bearded Tit and a Grasshopper Warbler were also noted.

Moths today included Pretty Chalk Carpet, Small Waved Umber, 2 Cinnabars, 2 Smoky Wainscots, 4 Common Footman, 6 Uncertain, 3 Buff Ermine, Short-cloaked Moth, Sand Dart, Mottled Rustic, Common Emerald, Striped Wainscot, 3 Brown Rustics, Scarce Footman, Pine and Privet Hawk Moths, Coronet, Large Yellow Underwing, Rustic, Flame, Least Carpet and Silky Wainscot.
