A strong south westerly was a limiting factor with little visible migration. However 700 Pink-feet were on the grazing marshes and 2 Pintail were on the Broadwater, while at sea 6 Eiders, a Red-breasted Merganser, 6 Red-throated Divers, 12 Great Crested Grebes and 2 Razorbills were counted. Two Kingfishers were again seen around the Broadwater.
In the moth traps 21 Narrow-winged Greys, 14 Large Yellow Underwings, a Black Rustic, Vine's Rustic, 2 Diamond-backs, 3 Rush Veneers, a Lesser Yellow Underwing, 2 White Points, 2 Lunar Underwings and a Feathere Ranunculus were recorded.
A Red Admiral, 5 Migrant Hawkers and 3 Common Darters were also seen.
