A Long-tailed Duck was seen offshore, with a Kingfisher and a Spoonbill on the Broadwater, while around the reserve a Firecrest showed on and off throughout the day. The Richardson's Cackling Goose was seen with a flock of Pink-feet on the marshes near the Saltings, and flew off west. A few moths were flying last night with 2 found on the side of the NOA truck this morning; Dotted Border (top) and Early Moth (middle), with a photo of the Firecrest by Eric Yeomans.
